Abstract
Geometrically confined 2-D standing spin waves (SSWs) excited in exchange-coupled hard/soft bilayer strips have been systematically investigated by micromagnetic simulation. The resonance frequency of the SSW was found to be tunable in a wide frequency range by adjusting the thickness ratio of the hard and soft layers. The dependence of the resonance frequency on various structural and material parameters has been systematically investigated.
