Abstract :
This article is an experience report describing a project that the author began 12 years ago to track several aspects of his life, by photographing the objects that his right hand uses every day. Results of the project are online at http://2004-2040.com. Unlike several related projects, this project is conducted manually using a self-crafted digital framework. Here, the author describes the project´s architecture, along with the different life perspectives he developed and depicted using multiple forms of media. Finally, he explains the motivations and challenges of manual lifelogging.
