Abstract :
In order to describe passive microwave networks in the time-domain over a given frequency band, we propose an accurate time-domain representation method based on a band-pass S-parameter description of the network. The time-domain representation is developed as a causal non-uniform complex-valued discrete-time impulse response. It is capable of being integrated into circuit envelope simulators and digital processing modules with sophisticated modulation whenever time-domain representations of linear sub-circuits are required.
