Abstract :
A digital transmit beamforming approach to locating passive RFID tags has been developed by a team working in the UK and Germany. Their approach has been shown to work well even in the presence of multipath reflections, making it suitable for real-world applications, from product tracking and the Internet-of-things to tracking people.
