Seeing things from the perspective of children is often very enlightening. I was chatting with my younger kids (10-yearold girls) who were asking me specific questions about exactly what I did for a living. This is interesting in itself and often ends up with a list of very probing questions arising from the minds of genuinely curious children trying to make sense of what a parent actually does in the real world.
