Abstract :
In the article "Effect of element directivity on adaptive beamforming applied to high-frame-rate ultrasound" [ibid., vol. 62, no. 3, pp. 511-523, 2015], the contrast C was correctly defined. The authors note that therefore, 20 log104 = 12.04 dB should be added to all the contrast values in the paper to obtain the correct contrast values.
