Abstract :
Part 1 features the speakers of the "Wisdom from the Giants" plenary session held at the 2014 International Test Week. These \´giants\´ offer their views of how ATE has changed over the years. Part 2, which will appear in the next issue of IEEE Design & Test, will feature responses to questions from the audience.
