Editor´s note

IEEE TDSC has seen an increase in the diversity of topics addressed by the papers submitted for possible publication. It is exciting to see how the fields of computer systems dependability and security are expanding to encompass new research topics. To ensure a high quality and efficient review process for papers, an editorial board covering the many research topics in those broad fields is crucial. In the past year, several new editors have joined the editorial board of IEEE TDSC. The Editor-in-Chief is very happy to introduce Dough Blough, Barbara Carminati, Lorrie Faith Cranor, Srini Devadas, Josep Domingo-Ferrer, Michael Franz, Roy Friedman, Xinyi Huang, Sanjay Kumar Jia, Zbigniew Kalbarczyk, Florian Kerschbaum, Engin Kirda, Sandip Kundu, Jun Li, Peng Liu, Dahlia Malkhi, Bruce McMillin, Alessandro Piva, Kui Ren, Eduard Suh, Venkat Venkatakrishnan, XiaoFeng Wang, Danfeng Yao, Ting Yu. Biographical sketches listing their accomplishments and areas of expertise are provided. The TDSC´s Editorial Board is pleased to welcome these outstanding individuals to their new role. Also, as the IEEE Computer Society´s policy limits the terms of the members of the Editorial Board, several members have been recently retired from the Editorial Board. The authors would like to thank their colleagues Murat Kantarcioglu, Ninghui Li, Jaideep Vaidya, Shouhai Xu, Vijay Atluri, Alexander Pretschner for their outstanding service as editors of IEEE TDSC.
