  • Abstract
    The insulation of rotating electric machines was previously the subject of a special issue of these Transactions in October 2010. There have been new and continued challenges in the form of applications such as PWM drives, thermal and electrical operating stresses and increased time intervals between off-line diagnostics and maintenance.
