Abstract
Presents an extended range detector log video amplifier for the 2-18 GHz range usable in RWR and ESM receivers. Beside details of the logging and summing amplifier, experimental results of log linearity in the -50 dBm to +10 dBm input power range and response to short 50 ns pulses are given.
