Abstract :
3D pulse-coherent radar with electronic beam scanning working in the C band will be the main source of information for a ship´s defence systems. A functional model of this radar system has been built. The system enables automatic detection and tracking of over 100 maritime and air targets. Output data from the radar with full information about the target is transmitted to the ship´s command systems or directly to automatic defence systems. Scanning in elevation is achieved using phase shifters. In azimuth it is solved by mechanical rotation and additionally by changing the frequency of the signal.
