Abstract :
In this paper we show how generalized synchronization can be used to synchronize two chaotic Colpitts oscillators. Generalized synchronization of two chaotic systems is a generalization of identical synchronization. We use a specific kind of generalized synchronization whose synchronizing manifold is linear. It is linear generalized synchronization. We study the Colpitts oscillator with an piecewise-linear nonlinearity. The simulation results for two examples are presented.
