Abstract :
The contribution presents an extension of indirect vector control of electric drives employing induction motors to ´forced dynamic control´. This control method offers an accurate realization of dynamic response profiles, which can be selected for given application by the user. The developed systems operate with shaft position encoder or shaft sensorless, when only the stator currents are measured, the applied stator voltages being determined by the computed switching inverter algorithm. Obtained preliminary experimental results for indirect vector control of induction motor indicate good agreement with the theoretical predictions.
