Abstract :
Analogy between trajectories of a ray in geodesic lens and bonded mass point in appropriate depression was generalized up to basic minimal principles-Hamilton´s and Fermat´s-in order to show possibility to investigate e.g. optical system through mechanical one, either theoretically or even experimentally.
