Abstract
Systems for virtual and augmented environments need the tracking of head movements, if used with head mounted stereoscopic displays. Such displays contain an integrated stereo camera, which enables see through vision. Instead of using special head tracking devices, an integrated stereo camera can be used for the determination of head position and orientation. This article presents a method for tracking the position and orientation of a stereo camera.
