SMART EDU - a new TV video enabled interactive e-learning platform

SMART EDU is a new e-learning platform which enhances CBT (computer based training) and WBT (Web based training) systems, but differing from them by its ability to transmit TV quality video and audio to trainees, thus allowing a significant increase in the attraction of e-learning training to the trainees. SMART EDU provides a complex set of tools and technologies for smooth provisioning of training, meetings and conferencing, incorporating TV quality video as the most natural and appealing media. It integrates synchronous and asynchronous functions like live broadcast, interaction, trainee site screens remote control, files broadcast, Web based tools such as discussion forum, knowledge base, as well as chatting and interactive channels. SMART EDU has a built-in learning management system (LMS) and supports formal as well as informal learning, synchronous and asynchronous activities.
