Abstract
We have investigated polarization properties of photonic crystal fibres (PCFs) produced by our company Crystal Fibre A/S. By applying a wavelength-sweeping technique for beat length measurement and the fixed analyzer technique for measurement polarisation mode dispersion (PMD) we found an experimental relation between beat-length and differential group delay (DGD) parameters for selected types of HB (PANDA, bow-tie) and PCFs produced by Crystal Fibre A/S.
