  • Abstract
    Manufacturing systems of the future foresee the use of intelligent autonomous vehicles, capable path planning, optimising and navigating. Aims and scopes of manufacturing systems are usually defined. Article presents a concept for collision-free path generating in 3D CAD environment. Genetic algorithm (GA) method is used. On-line navigation elements are also included. Examples show universality and inventiveness of the approach. A brief discussion on potential applications is also provided.
