Abstract :
In this paper a possible multilayered market for unbundled electricity service provision is modelled and analyzed. This market architecture is compared to the fully coordinated security-constrained economic dispatch. This architecture is motivated by the need to enable the transmission service provider to value its delivery service in an unbundled way from the value of power supply. The paper demonstrates basic feasibility of this design and states theoretical assumptions and conditions under which the two solutions are equivalent.
