  • Abstract
Interaction of two successive shock waves focused to a common focal point have been investigated. The waves are generated by multichannel discharges at composite coaxial cylindrical anodes and focused by a parabolic reflector. The anodes are supplied from separate power supplies and the time delay between the discharges can be varied. Main aim of the experiment is to study propagation of the second shock through inhomogeneity formed by the first wave
