Abstract
Stability using proportional+integral+derivative (PID) controllers is investigated for linear multi-input multi-output (MIMO) plants. Necessary conditions are derived for existence of PID-controllers. Systematic PID-controlIer synthesis procedures are developed for several plant classes.
