Abstract
The existing second-order theory of cyclostationarity (SOCS) is in its highly developed stage, and there is a need for development of a higher-order CS (HOCS) theory. Some basic definitions are introduced for the HOCS. A brief discussion is presented on properties of the corresponding higher-order functions, both in the temporal and spectral domain. Using these properties, several definitions are arrived at and compared to those which are known from the SOCS theory.
