Abstract :
The authors consider conditions and a solution for a perfect interpolation of the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) spectrum. Free variables in the problem are chosen to enable the shortest sequence length. Some sequences for an efficient implementation in cascade interpolation structures are computed, and the required number of multiplications for the procedure is determined.
