Abstract :
In scenarios which are common in radar surveillance, cellular telephony etc., the natural choice is a uniform circular array (UCA). However, UCA presents new challenges that manifest themselves in terms of stronger mutual coupling effects. The motivation of this paper is to suggest a knowledge-aided direction finding (DF) method for the UCA in the presence of mutual coupling.
