Abstract :
A method for evaluation of impulsive noise effects on data transmission in mobile radio systems is described. A noncoherent frequency shift keying (NCFSK) system with a limiter-discriminator has been investigated. The transmitted signal has been subjected to fading, Gaussian noise, and impulsive noise. A general expression for bit error rate at the receiver input is derived.
