Abstract
A model for the synthesis problem is developed. It is shown that the synthesis process can be composed for synthesis primes for decomposition, interpretation, and structuring, and driven with synthesis goals. By incorporating synthesis goals as decision parameters, the degree of nondeterminism can be reduced to an acceptable one. A built-in learning algorithm can additionally reduce synthesis process complexity on the assumption that acquired and generalized knowledge will be used in further synthesis processes.
