Abstract :
In this paper is considered on-line fault localization in radial underground distribution network. Fault localization can be done on the basis of transient recordings of currents and voltages in substations HV/MV during a fault. Estimated fault impedance is compared with results of short circuit calculation for considered distribution feeder. This approach has been examined by fault simulations on the models of real distribution feeders in ED Tuzla by assuming isolated and grounded network
