Abstract
This paper focuses on the topology and capacity planning for a heterogeneous wireless network on board an aircraft (composed by UMTS, Bluetooth and IEEE 802.11b access). The methodology proposed takes into account the several constraints that appear in such specific environment, expected traffic scenarios and the coexistence between Bluetooth and IEEE 802.11b. Selected results applying such methodology are presented for a proposed scenario in the frame of the WirelessCabin project
