Abstract :
The paper presents the results of the tests of a laboratory single-phase active filter which employs intelligent power module. The filter control system based on artificial neural networks is described. In order to mitigate the high frequency component of the current a passive filter was designed. The results of simulation tests based on genetic algorithms were used for the selection of the parameters of the filter elements. The results of the simulation and experimental tests obtained from laboratory arrangement are presented
