Abstract :
Transient stability preventive control has received considerable attention in recent years and much progress around this topic has been reported in the literature. The goal of this paper is two folds: first, to provide a critical review on the main solution algorithms of the problem; Secondly, to present a study on the analytical properties of the transient stability optimization problem via stability region analysis
