Abstract
An induction motor functioning with a no-torque limitation working with the T-model drive is considered. To achieve this, complete and independent flux and torque control is required by decoupling the respective regulating loops. Included is an induction motor state observer insensitive to TR changes developed for the T-model that gives an accurate measurement of the internal parameters of flux and torque. A decoupling algorithm in this model is developed to compensate flux and torque regulating loops by decoupling the rotor-associated axis. By doing this, independent control of the motor internal parameters is obtained. Several simulation examples of a regulated induction motor functioning with this regulation method that allows independent control of flux and torque are presented.
