Abstract
System and control concepts of natural trackability and natural tracking control are introduced in the framework of time-invariant linear systems described by input-output nth-order vector differential equations. The necessary and sufficient conditions for natural tracking control to guarantee exponential tracking without employing information about the system internal dynamics are established. Sufficient conditions are provided that demonstrates the natural tracking control of systems with unknown internal dynamics.
