Abstract :
A power stage model of a multiple-output forward power converter with weighted voltage-mode control is derived incorporating all the major parasitics. The model is employed to identify the feasible region of the weighting factors to meet given DC regulation specifications. A design procedure that determines the optimal selection of the weighting factors is proposed. The DC model and the design procedure are verified on an experimental two-output forward converter.
