  • Abstract
The problem of transients is solved by means of the analysis in the frequency domain combined with the inverse Fourier transform. This approach is adopted, for a quite simple reason: a very efficient and versatile program (WIRE) for electromagnetic analysis of wire structures was available, and can be used with relatively minor extensions for analysis of transients. Graphs are presented showing pulse propagation in such cases for a number of bend angles and different types of concentrated loadings.
