  • Abstract
    The processing time needed by some applications can be reduced if the work is shared between a network of processors rather than being implemented on a single processor. This principle has been applied to a software package developed to perform radiometric and geometric corrections of NOAA-AVHRR images, a parallel version has been developed and implemented on a T.Node, a computer made of 64 processors called ´transputers´. The result of this work is described.
