Abstract :
In this paper an H/sub /spl infin// norm model reduction scheme is compared, in the H/sub /spl infin// norm sense, with the Hankel norm approximation scheme through examples. It is observed that the H/sub /spl infin// approximation method can be much better or, in some cases, comparable to the Hankel norm approximation scheme.
