  • Abstract
    Overlapping decomposition of traffic networks, for the purpose of decentralized routing control design, is considered. The concept of extension is defined for the case of dynamic traffic networks. A procedure for expanding a traffic network is introduced and it is shown that the expanded network obtained by this procedure is in fact an extension of the original network.
