  • Abstract
Due to the fact, that metrological demand for an AC voltage standard influences the design of a digital sine wave generator, as its crucial subsystem, a comparative analysis of three distinctive methods for precision digital sinewave generation is performed. Providing an accurate, precise and predictable root-mean-square value and low total harmonic distortion with the frequency as a parameter, the relation between the complexity of a particular hardware circuit and the appropriate computational method is examined.
