Abstract :
Hydropower plants exploitation optimization is a subject of interest everywhere. By optimizing the hydropower plants exploitation we refer to the use of water resources so that the power production is maximized, respecting, at the same time, the constraints imposed by the water consumer from the geographical region. The software system can successfully be used for these kind of goals. In this paper we present a SCADA system designed and developed in order to optimize the daily exploitation of the hydro plants cascade. The software application is funded by the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research, in the frame of MENER program
