Abstract :
In this paper the problems connected with the impulse voltage recording are considered in the amplitude range over 100 kV and characteristic rise time in the nanosecond range. The impulse voltage phenomena are explained and it is appointed to the need of their recording. After that, several construction principles are presented for the registering and transferring of the impulse voltages. In the paper is also given the detailed description of the measuring probe adjustable to the impulse voltage supervision. The particular attention was paid to the construction and calculation of the low-voltage capacitor, as well as the appropriate choice of the material. The basic construction requirement was to make possible to supervise the impulse voltages with the frequency up to 500 MHz without any distortion in both the frequency and voltage domain.
