Abstract :
This paper deals with cell size calculation for fixed wireless access by using WiMAX technology that is going to be implemented in the Republic of Croatia. First part of the paper describes what WiMAX technology is. Second part of the paper present propagation model for fixed wireless access 802.16.3c-0129r4, which is offered by IEEE. Third part of the paper considers link budget and cell size calculation by using proposed propagation model. Fourth part of the paper shows results of the mathematical simulations. The emphasis of this paper is on the simulation method for calculating cell size for fixed wireless access
