Abstract :
Future of a dynamic process is hard and ungrateful to predict. The intention of this paper is to look at areas of further optical networks development and to consider some environmental circumstances for the next step forward-fiber to the home. Experience from the own communication past and examples chosen, may be a clue for the best direction. It is likely that somewhere along that trace the fiber-to-the-home tipping point is hidden
