Abstract :
The development of integrated organic electronic devices is a gateway for a variety of applications, and is of great relevance for the general purpose of achieving highly integrated optoelectronic systems. For example, the combination of organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) and organic thin film transistors (OFETs) is needed for the development of all-organic active matrix display technology. This article is concerned with the recent advances of organic devices made of organic materials, as electrically and optically active components, in devices ranging from simple single-component OLEDs, through double- and multi-layer OLEDs to organic displays and OFET´s
