Abstract :
In this paper a new class of augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is introduced for the robust stability of linear uncertain neutral systems. The uncertainties under consideration are norm bounded. Delay-dependent robust stability criteria are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities. Model transformation and bounding on the cross terms are avoided. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the significant improvement on the conservativeness of the delay bound over some reported results in the literature
