Abstract
The goal of the integration of multi-agent or holonic systems is to enable them to communicate together and to understand exchanged messages. The communication problems can occur at the level of physical communication, at the level of syntax of the messages, and at the level of the semantics of messages. There are proposals for the solutions of how to translate one message to another so that the recipient of the message can understand it. In this paper, we focus on the architectural considerations - i.e., the way of using the translation for the multi-agent system integration. We describe three types of architecture, where the third one is a new proposal, where agents do not need any special changes to be integrated with agents that are using different language for communication.
