Abstract
This paper describes the design of 12 Watt, pulsed and CW, 1100 -1600 MHz power amplifier. The design architecture and particularity of the amplifier is its high power output in a wide frequency band with very long pulses and extremely high duty. The block diagram, used transistors, design of heatsink for the amplifier are presented. The simulation results of separate stages of the amplifier are presented. In conclusion some experimental results of the realized amplifier are shown on the graphs.
