  • Abstract
    This paper presents combined early inter skip prediction and selective intra prediction mode decision algorithm for B frame processing in H.264/AVC, which reduces the computational time savings (up to 43%) with negligible loss of rate-distortion performance. Also, in order to estimate SNR results in subjective way, subjective video quality assessment is used for all sequences under test.
