Abstract :
The paper deals with improvements of a current operational amplifier (COA). The COA can be taken as a counterpart for the voltage operational amplifier. The COA is supposed to simplify current processing circuits and to make them more accurate. The problem is that designers of analog circuits are not involved in current-mode circuitry design as widely as in voltage-mode circuitry. It is believed, that the COA should be able to help improve the design of electronics devices, but it has to meet several standards first.
