Abstract :
Optimal route planning is a subject of interest in control systems (robot´s motion planning) as well as in people, vehicles or information guidance (traffic management). Basic transport optimization methods, developed and distinguished through the Operations Research scientific principles, however, cannot answer to all "travelling and routing" tasks. In this paper we introduce the novel idea and our newly developed method, accompanied with a suitable program solution, for optimal route servicing. Optimal time saving route is planned according to the idea that all roads included in given map have to be passed (serviced), sometimes under different priorities, using one or more service vehicles.
