Abstract
This paper presents a simple iterative method for reconstruction signal affected by nonlinear distortion in OFDM transmitter and AWGN channel. The proposed method is based on iterative estimation of the samples affected by clipping. Position of the samples that are affected with clipping are estimated by comparing the magnitude of the inverse Fourier transform of the estimated signal in frequency domain with the magnitude of the received signal. Samples that are detected as a clipped are replaced with the samples from the signal estimated in frequency domain. The novelty in this approach is in detection of the clipped samples through the iterative procedure based on threshold adaptation. Simulation results of the proposed method are compared with decision-aided reconstruction (DAR) method.
